I know that its customary to wear a nice dress and white shoes during graduation, but what is the min and max that i should spend on the outfit? What type of dress do I wear-short or long? Do they have to be high heels? What about accessories? I am very 5’2 and very slim, what is a good place for me to find a dress?

well i asked my friendswhat they plan on doing what i know is white shoes and a nice dresss like-well not a brides dress something that is like a homecomming dress maybe a prom dress- no clue where to get one im 5′ 1″ and well its hard to find them becuase im so skinny and short guessing like you and not high heels maybe a inch if you want remember you dont want to break and ankle while your at it but you dont want to look like you died and came back so just some shoe would work i went to walmart for my homecomming shoe because i wear a size 4 and(yes thats in the younger girl section) i can only wear that size well the occasional 5. so you know not too much money it shouldnt cost you much-im sure there are plenty of dress sites online -http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=buy%20a… – and trythe local mall or something.
To my Graduation i wore a knee length black cocktail dress with blue pearls and black heels
You could wear casual or cocktail dresses or skirt suits with stilettos, flats or kitten heel (I like kitten heel). Your look should be modern and sophisticated so no overly accessorizing. Kohl’s, Burlington Coat Factory, JC Penny, Express, New York & Co., Charlotte Russe, Urban Outfitters, 5.7.9 ,Claires or Afaze for accessories. Shoes and bags are depended upon the colors of the dress .
something you would wear to church. or you could go with a nice skirt and blouse with some pumps.
Wear what you will feel comfortable in. Not too tight, or low cut, and short. Try, …your local mall. Take a day to look and shop. You are bound to find something that you like and would feel good in. Congratulations on your achievement!

Do you really have to wear white shoes. My two sisters didn’t. But I suggest a cute black dress and a simple yet classy black high heel shoes.
