Honestly, I hate it when my husband buys me jewelry. He takes me into the store, I pick out something, then he hides it until Christmas. It depends on how much money you have to spend and how much jewelry she already has/wants. I specifically tell my husband what I want (slippers this year) or he lets me pick it out. It takes the suprise out of it, but we’re empty nesters and that really doesn’t matter anymore.
